The Audrey Snyder Single Parent Program has been developed to support student nurses’ academic and economic needs. The Student must be an Admitted Student in one of our Nursing Program Tracks, be the single Head of Household of one school-aged child between the ages of five and ten, having primary custody of said child. The applicant will be required to meet the Residence Life Coordinator and/or other committee members prior to acceptance in the program. See the Nursing Student Handbook.
The unit is one of four residence units and is comprised of five individual rooms, each with two bedrooms and a private bath. The unit has a common kitchen and living room area.
Upon acceptance into the program, students are required to attend an orientation to familiarize them with the program and housing expectations.
Tuition and housing are provided by financial aid and scholarships.
